Kodiak is a tall, handsome, intelligent Husky. Kodiak is the kind of blue-eyed majestic wonder that makes people stop and stare and exclaim how beautiful he is! Kodiak has the “WOW!” factor. His wise and knowing facial expression is saying, “take me home with you!” He does have a little bit of that well-known Husky “drama." He is in play groups and loves his new toys. He enjoys training, getting love and learning new things. He needs a home and it makes no sense to us that he is still at RHHR. Kodiak has recently undergone his annual complete vetting and received a clean bill of health, and he has been going strong and healthy now for a long time at RHHR. Kodiak has bounced back from being abandoned and heartbroken (he was previously adopted and tearfully returned due to unrelated family reasons), and he enjoys our dog treadmill (which he learned in less than 5 minutes to use!), and our weekly training nights. When he was living in his previous adoptive home, he could be seen happily parading around town on leash with his owners at local events. Kodiak’s long legs could allow him to jump over fences, so a privacy fence is best and his outside yard time could be supplemented with a tie-out line. He may be the ideal Husky for someone who doesn’t necessarily have a large fenced yard, but who would love to have a husky, one who loves to run and walk on leash outside with them.
